Brief in short:
Create a campaign to promote a Scandinavian Trading Roadshow. The campaign must stand out visually to other similar trading roadshows, and highlight the well known speakers at the event.

The Vision:

IG is no ordinary trading provider, and this is no ordinary technical analysis seminar. Don’t miss your chance to gain knowledge from a panel of trading experts, led by the legendary John Bollinger, and network with your peers. Answer our call, and join the world’s No.1 CFD provider at an exclusive evening trading event, set in plush surroundings at the centre of your city.

The dream for this project was to create a unique, visual illustrative style to showcase both the trading aspect of the seminars as well as highlighting the well known speakers or ‘trading elite’ as we have called them, who would be the main draw to the event.

To answer the brief, illustrations were used instead of photos, to give this event a different look to other similar events. I have incorporated the brand colour as the main key colour on this campaign, to add a branded element to the event as well as an additional stand out feature.

As the key speaker, John Bollinger, invented a type of trading charting, I have included these distinctive ‘bollinger bands’ in the design. If you are a trader and don’t instantly recognize the key speaker, you are more than likely going to know about the charting feature.
